But, back in March, her name was floated to be the candidate who would replace Hope Hicks at the Communications Director job. It has been a battle that has been brutal. The allies of Schlapp and Tony Sayegh began to joust in the media. Schlapp called Sayegh after The Washington Examiner printed a bad article about his character.
